Lax Kw'alaams Land Use Plan the focus for Zoom Session set for Thursday

The Lax Kw'alaams Band Council will be outlining its vision for the future of the traditional territory this week with an online Zoom session workshop set for tomorrow from 4 to 6 PM. 

Over the course of the last few months, the Council has been sharing details of the Land Use planning and consulting with the membership, the most recent engagement period running through to May.

The Land Use Plan work will provide for an update from the plan adopted in 2004, the new document now in development is expected to carry the community through the next 10 years, with updates to follow.

To spur on interest I the project, the Band has been offering up a chance to participate in a draw.

With  $300, $200 and $100 gift cards to be won based on an entry for completed surveys and an entry for workshop participation with a possible 2 entry’s into the draw.
