It's another three years ahead of helping to steer the ship of progress for one member of the Board of the Prince Rupert Port Authority, with the Federal government announcing today that Frans Tjallingii, will remain in his post, the announcement coming from Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra today from Ottawa.
Mr. Tjallingii, who joined the Board in 2017, is one of six Board Members and has been serving as the Boar Chairs.
Last month the City of Prince Rupert and District of Port Edward posted a notice seeking applicants for their allotted placement on the Board, so far there has been no announcement from the City as to who was selected for the post.
