SD52 anticipates approval of School Restart plan by Wednesday

SD52 officials have completed and submitted their Return to school plan to the Ministry of Education; with School administrators outlining for the Ministry their approach towards a restart for school in September.

Word on the progress of the restart planning was delivered by Superintendent of Schools Andrew Samoil today.

In a letter to parents, students and staff  posted to Social Media, Mr. Samoil notes of the priority that SD52 has put on  health and safety as September nears.

With the plan now in the hands of the province, Mr. Samoil observes that once approved, the individual plans for each school in the District will be posted to the websites for the schools, the SD52 website and through Social Media.

SD52 has also provided a video update towards the Restart program for the schools in the District.

As we outlined last week, the launch of the new school year is set for the week of September 8-11 with teachers reporting to their schools on September 8th, with students to follow them into the classroom two days later.

You can get updates on those plans and other notes on education from the SD52 websiteFacebook page and Twitter Feed.
