Ellis Ross leadership campaign gains new support as weekend BC Liberal membership blitz ends

It's been a rewarding few days for Skeena MLA Ellis Ross and his aspirations to reach the BC Liberals leadership next February.

Last week saw Mr. Ross gain some high profile support both within the party and from outside of it, with an endorsement from fellow Northern MLA John Rustad, as well as to see a BC Conservative official sign on to the campaign with his support.

The BC Conservative official to join the Ross team is Alan Forseth from Kamloops. who during a Social media thread last week outlined how he sees the BC Liberal candidate as one who can bring in those from the Centre and the Centre right into the mix towards the leadership campaign.

The push for new membership also saw the party seek out British Columbians to join, or renew their connection of the past to help select the next leader, tough the totals as to the pace of the weekend totals has yet to be released.

The BC Liberal campaign has seen five candidates enter the race, with the Leadership to be decided with a February 5th vote next year.

You can follow the Ross campaign from his website here.
