For the Northwest MLA's the week was once again one of remote participation with both Ellis Ross and Jennifer Rice taking part in debate from their home constituencies.

Monday morning, Ms. Rice provided presented a Private Members Motion in support of the Government's efforts on. a range of COVID Issues.
In the Tuesday morning session, she also paid tribute to he 20th Anniversary of the Coastal First Nations with a statement to the House.
The North Coast MLA is also a permanent member of the Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs, serving as the convener of that forum.

For our readers from the Terrace-Kitimat region, Skeena MLA Ellis Ross was mentioned twice in the record for Legislature from December 14 -17
The Skeena MLA explored themes of the protection of Wild Salmon and the steps that British Columbia can take towards it.
The MLA also took the opportunity of the Tuesday morning session to wish his daughter a happy birthday.
The Skeena MLA is also a permanent member of the Standing Committee on Legislative Initiatives.
He has also been appointed to the Standing Committee on Children and Youth and as noted above, he has been appointed to the newly created Committee to study the Police Act.

The short two-week session for the Fall/Winter came to an end at 3:13 on Thursday Afternoon, the Members will return to their Legislature work when the Government next announces their plans for the year ahead.
The full schedule for the Legislature for 2021 has yet to be released.
