With new COVID-19 measures in place towards recreational activities for adults, the City of Prince Rupert's Recreation Department has put a number of their popular programs on hiatus for now.
Among the programs that have been cancelled were Evening Badminton, Nifty Fifty Walking Club, Noon-Hour Badminton, Open Climbing Wall and Zumba.
Doctor Bonnie Henry, the Provincial Health Officer has been adding and subtracting from the allowable activities for much of this month as British Columbia looks to respond to the rising rates of COVID-19 cases found across the province.
