A December 22nd West Jet flight originating in Terrace and bound for Vancouver is one of a number of newly added flights to the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control's Flight Alert system, which lists reports of potential COVID-19 exposure for travellers in the province.
The advisory for the Terrace flight of last Tuesday notes of the potential exposure for those seated in rows 6-12, it's the third flight between Terrace and Vancouver that was flagged this month by the BC CDC.
In total, nine flights have been identified as having had exposure to COVID from March to December for the Terrace-Vancouver route.
Prince Rupert has only had one flight so far that has been noted for potential COVID exposure by the BC CDC, that an Air Canada flight from November 16th.
The provincial agency advises that Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
