District of Port Edward to open public spaces, fields today

Some of Port Edward's recreation sites will be open to the public today

The youth of Port Edward can head to the park today, as the District announces that as of this morning the parks and ball field in the community are now Open to the public, though they ask that resident obey the posted signage.

While the parks may be open, the District is also reminding residents of the string of recent wolf sightings and an attack in the community in the last seven days, urging residents maintain increased vigilance of their children during this period.



The move comes as the District continues to move forward with their reopening process after the closures from the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The District has also noted that they will be reopening the municipal office in the near future with reduced hours in order to serve the public.

With Property tax notices now delivered to Port Edward residents, the District has also highlighted the online options available to residents to use when it comes time to make payment.
