The City of Prince Rupert is looking to fill a pair of Board positions with a recent notice posted to the Civic website on Monday outlines the opportunities to serve with either the Airport Authority Board or the Library Board.
Those with an intention to apply can submit a letter of interest which includes a written description of your skills and experiences that would be relevant to the position you are interested in.
As part of the Notice on the city website, the city is encouraging a wide range of applications.
The City appoints to our committees on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity within our community. We especially welcome applications from visible minority group members, women, First Nations persons, persons with disabilities, persons of minority sexual orientations and gender identities, and others with the skills and knowledge to productively engage with diverse communities. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
One Board position is available for each of the Library Board and Airport Authority Board opportunities, applications can be forwarded to the City's Corporate Administrator Rosamaria Miller.
Time is short however to get your resume and letters in, the deadline for the process is this Friday.
