First of series of SD52 Budget consultations set for tonight

The first of three SD52 Budget sessions takes place tonight
in the meeting room upstairs at the Booth Maintenance Building

The first opportunity for those interested in the SD52 Budget process to speak to the topic comes up tonight as the Prince Rupert School Board hosts their first of three engagement sessions tonight starting at 7 PM.

This years Budget process is taking place at a new location, with the School District shifting the venue to the upstairs meeting area of the Booth Maintenance Building on Hays Cove Circle across from the Petro Canada station.

The session tonight will serve as an introduction to the themes for discussion as well as the opportunity for the public to offer their views as part of a Talking Circle.

The consultation process will continue later this month with a February 18th session to hear from Individual partner groups and again at the end of March on the 30th where a review of the budget elements will take place along with another opportunity for comment.

All of their meetings will take place at the Booth maintenance venue.

More background on the consultation can be found from the SD52 website.
