Residents of Port Edward will have an opportunity tonight to express any comments or concerns that the may have about a request for a zoning change for a property at the southern end of the District townsite.
The District of Port Edward is considering rezoning a parcel of land currently listed as single family residential, to that of Light Industrial, with the purpose of the rezoning to allow for commercial development.

Tonight's hearing will provide residents with more background related to the request for the change in zoning and allow for time for participation by those in attendance.
The Public Hearing takes place at 6 PM at the Municipal Hall Council Chambers
