A drive around town of late is showing a number of local infrastructure issues starting to pop up requiring attention and the increase in that workload for city workers, could mean additional job opportunities for those looking to join the work force at the City of Prince Rupert.
A Job opportunity notice was placed in the Northern View last week, noting the call for applications for a position in the Public Works Department, with the City looking to fill the position of Clerk/Labourer and directing would be applicants to the city's website to seek further information and a complete job description.
However, someone might want to share the employment news with the Personnel department at City Hall, as to this point the job posting has not been listed on the City's Jobs Page.
The deadline for those interested is October 20th with applications to be directed to Tanya Ostrom, Operations manger at hrop@princerupert.ca
You can review the year in job opportunities with the City from our archive page here.
