It was a split week for North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, while the Legislature returned to its Victoria duties for the fall session on Monday, Ms. Rice spent the first two days of the week in Prince Rupert attending the Coroner's Inquest into the deaths of Angie and Robert Robinson taking place at the Prince Rupert Court House.
With a short return to Victoria for the Wednesday and Thursday morning session, Ms. Rice was heading back to the North Coast for Friday morning and a stop in at Lax Kw'alaams for the opening of the new Coast Tsimshian Academy in that community.
For her work in Victoria on the week, the MLA made one inquiry in Wednesday's Question Period related to the recently disclosed data breach at the Ministry of Education, while Thursday's morning session provided a chance for Ms. Rice to update the Legislature on the Lax Kw'alaams school opening.

We offered up a short preview of some of the possible talking points from the MLA prior to the start of the fall Session.
