Northern Health addresses some concerns over services at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital

Northern Health has taken a rather unusual step of advising residents of the Prince Rupert area that things are fine at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, an answer to some concerns over COVID-19 in the community that the hospital is limiting access to the facility.

While they observe that there have been some cases confirmed of COVID at both the hospital and Acropolis Manor, no outbreak has been declared and the situation is being managed through control measures.

Northern Health also outlines in a Social Media post from Monday, that access is still available at the hospital and they encourage residents to continue to use the hospital for any outpatient and lab work requirements as well as to make use of Emergency if situations warrant.
