Increases for Terrace, Kitimat declines for Prince Rupert, Smithers; latest COVID-19 weekly data release for communities of Northwest


Local Health Authority COVID review by region 
for November 28--December 4


The upward creep of COVID-19 is back for the Terrace region which this week sees an increase of seven from their data of one week ago, with the Terrace area atop the data release for the Northwest with 56 cases to report this week.

Prince Rupert saw some slight improvement from the week before with a count of 8 COVId-19 cases  for the week of November 28-December 4, down two from last week.

In other centres, Smithers saw a decline in the week-to-week numbers, while Kitimat saw a slight increase.

The full review across the region for the week of November 28-December 4 from the BC CDC looks as follows:


Terrace -- 56 cases
Kitimat --  19 cases
Smithers -- 12 cases
Upper Skeena --  12 cases
Prince Rupert -- 8 cases
Burns Lake -- 8 cases
Haida Gwaii -- 3 cases
Nechako -- 2 cases
Snow Country-Stikine- Telegraph Creek --
 2 cases
Nisga'a Region --  N/A
Central Coast -- N/A
Bella Coola Valley --  N/A

Wednesday's provincial report lists  49 new cases of COVID for Northern Health,  with 276 Active cases.
