Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP gains birds eye view of Prince Rupert as part of constituency visit

Home office away from the Home Office, MP Taylor Bachrach
is in Prince Rupert this week to meet with local officials and
constituents at his office in the Ocean Centre

A bit of work, a bit of tourism, that seems to be the theme to a visit this week to Prince Rupert by Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach.

The MP has been hosting residents at his constituency office in the Ocean Centre Mall the last few days, as well as taking a tour of the region to hear of the concerns and prospects for the western portion of the vast Skeena-Bulkley Valley riding.

He has also been speaking to members of local media as part of his stop-over in the city,

Mr. Bachrach noted his pending arrival through his Social Media page earlier this week.

While here, the MP took advantage of our break from what has not been the most photogenic of summer seasons to capture a few images of the city, a trek that that required a bit of dedication, with the MP taking to the Mount Hays Trail system to reach a level of the mountain that offers up some spectacular vistas of the port city.

A recent hike/run up Mount Hays offered Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP
Taylor Bachrach a new look at Prince Rupert

Mr. Bachrach's visit follows on one last week to the Kitimat area where he participated in meetings with the Haisla government as well as local government.

So far,  the MP has not offered up any updates on his travels in Prince Rupert, other than the photo stop from high up Mount Hays.

You can reach the Prince Rupert Community Office at 250-622-2413.
