Congratulations will soon be heard around the city and across the North Coast and Haida Gwaii, as North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice and her partner Andrea Wilmot introduce the newest constituent to the North Coast.
The parents celebrating the safe arrival of Lúà Alan Rice, the young man checking in at 10:46 AM on December 7th, making him a Winterfest Baby for Prince Rupert.
Both moms and baby are reported as doing well.
The name Lúà that was selected by the proud parents is a name gifted by Ayla Brown of the Heiltsuk First Nation at Bella Bella and means sky.
