With the crowd long departed from the Court House Lawn, Prince Rupert's cenotaph stands in testimony to the memories of the past.
The wind, wreaths and flag at half staff marking the hours following the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Those that participated in the Monday morning observance in Prince Rupert faced harsh conditions, with strong winds and rain arriving just prior to the 11 AM event, the ugliest of the ugly weather of the day dissipating by mid-afternoon leaving the Court House once again a place of peaceful repose.
Our notes of earlier today, as well as links to a range of material to learn more about this years commemoration of Remembrance Day can be explored here.
