The NDP's candidate for the 2019 Fall election was fully charged (as was his vehicle) as he took to Haida Gwaii this week, looking to introduce himself and secure the votes of Islanders for the fall campaign with an ambitious list of communities to visit before he heads back to the mainland.
Taylor Bachrach is on day three of his week long tour of Haida Gwaii and so far the journey has taken the NDP candidate to Sandspit, Queen Charlotte and Skidegate.
Today finds Bachrach in Masset, while Friday is set aside for the Port Clements area.
Saturday he's on to Tlell and the Edge of the World Festival as a wrap to the Haida Gwaii tour.
The Smithers Mayor who has made the environment one of his municipal themes over the last few years, has carried that message over to the Federal scene and he's walking that walk of sustainable energy, or in this case driving that drive ... having planned to use an electronic vehicle on his tour of the Islands.
Mr. Bachrach has been chronicling some of his travels of late through his social media feeds including a number of photos posted to Instagram.
