WCC LNG comment period set to close on Wednesday

For North Coast residents looking to provide their comments when it comes to the proposed Tuck Inlet LNG Terminal project, the current phase of the Draft Application Information process is about to come to an end, with the final opportunity for comments as part of this first phase set to close on Wednesday, January 6th.

Exxon/Mobil hosted an Open House in mid December to outline the current status of their investigative work related to the proposed development, offering up a progress report on their work to this point and what is ahead for the plan to develop the LNG terminal on the shore across from the east side of the City of Prince Rupert.

You can review some of the comments, few as they are to this point,  provided to the Province from this link to the BC Environmental Assessment page.

The comment period which opened on November 23rd has delivered three contributions as of last week, with observations both short and fairly lengthy providing some early indications when it comes to what is on the mind of those showing interest in the Tuck Inlet project.

The full overview of the project documentation can be examined from the Project Information Centre page here.
