No reason, or reasons were provided by District officials as to why they had decided to take the May 12th date off the Council calendar.
The District had met the week before on May 5th, that in order to put the final votes in place on their Financial planning for 2020.
The next opportunity to meet in public session comes up on May 26th.
While they did not meet at the Municipal Hall, there was some news to come out of that office earlier this month. With the District making note of an extensive clean up underway in the area, with civic workers collecting grass clippings, small leaves and sticks from District residents free of charge through the month of May.
Beyond the usual collection of green waste from residents through the month, the District is also taking on the challenges of the Recreation area across from Aero Trading with an advisory for those who have left boats, trailers and such in the area.
For more items of note from the District see our archive page here.
