MLA's week: February 29 - March 3, 2016
It was a week that for the most part focused on background work at the Legislature for North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, with no entries of note from the regular proceedings of the House, or through Question period, but with the MLA making appearances at a pair of Committee sessions held this week.
As we do at the end of each week of the Legislature session, we outline some of the main notes of interest from the North Coast MLA's work week.
Ms Rice was listed twice in the archive of participants for the seven sessions of the Legislature in the House, or for those listings related to her work on House Committees for the week of February 29-March 3.
Tuesday afternoon, the North Coast MLA raised three questions during the course of the Committee session for the Ministry of the Environment, noting issues at Banks Island, the Central Coast and Haida Gwaii for the consideration of the committee.

On Thursday afternoon, Ms. Rice appeared at the Committee session for Forests, Lands and Natural Resources, with a question related to an educational camp on Haida Gwaii.

Ms Rice is also a member of the Committee on Children and Youth, however that Committee did not meet this week.
Members of the Legislature return to the Chamber on Monday morning.
There is more background on the North Coast MLA available from our MLA's Week Archive as well as our General Archive on the Legislature.
