Coast Mountain College Board of Governors session wraps up in Prince Rupert

After a full day of meetings, senior adminisrative officials and the members of the Board of Governors for Coast Mountain College, have wrapped up a stay in Prince Rupert, with the Fifth Street campus downtown playing host to this month's meeting.

Those arriving in town reviewed an Agenda that featured presentations on Registration, Health Programs at the college, an update on the work of the Coast Mountain College Foundation as well as a Vice Presidents Update.

Interim President Dr. Laurie Waye also made use of ten minutes of the session for her own update on developments at the college with campuses across the Northwest.

With the Terrace campus recently opening their new housing facility, a presentation on housing made for part of this afternoons session work, while a range of Committee reports rounded out the two hour afternoon get together.

Fourteen members make up the Board of Governors, chaired by Nicole Halbauer, two of the representatives, David Smith and Mary Denton hold the Prince Rupert positions on the board.


The next Board meeting is scheduled for January, though at which campus has yet to be listed.

So far, the Coast Mountain College communications team has not outlined any decisions or discussion points that may have come out of todays session.
