The Elections Canada office on First Avenue West hosted the Advance poll this weekend which saw many residents of the region take advantage of the opportunity to vote before Election Day |
The four day Advance Voting window closes this evening at 9 PM, with a weekend of voting opportunities hosted by returning offices across Skeena-Bulkley Valley.
In Prince Rupert, the old Farewest Sports location on First Avenue West across from the Museum of Northern British Columbia was the host venue for the Advance voting and the process went smoothly for those in attendance, with the time between signing in and casting a ballot measured in minutes and not many of them before you would be on your way to other duties.
The General Election Day takes place one week from today at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre with the polls to be open from 7 AM to 7 PM
You can also vote in person at your Elections Canada office before 6 PM on September 14th
Across the Northwest and on Haida Gwaii you can find out where your returning office is and where the General Vote will take place from this listing of Election Canada options.
