Community Futures Pacific Northwest announces expansion of funding program for COVID impacted businesses

Community Futures Pacific Northwest has expanded on
a program to help local business deal with the impacts of COVID


Small and medium business operators in the Northwest may be eligible for a bit of additional relief from the challenges of COVID-19, with Community Futures Pacific Northwest ready to explain the latest funding opportunities available locally.

The local Community Futures office in Prince Rupert outlined some of the details to the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund which could deliver loans of up to 40,000 dollars with no interest or payments required until December 31st 2022.

The program has been established to assist rural and small busineses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and provides for funds for such things as lease payments, salaries and benefits, utilities, bank charges and interest and a range of other business expenses.




The Notice of the additional funding was relayed through the Community Futures Pacific Northwest Facebook page today.
