Northern Health to host COVID-19 Virtual Townhall April 22

A chance for residents of the Northwest to ask questions on Northern Health's work during the COVID-19 pandemic is coming up next week, as the Health Agency hosts a number of Virtual Town Hall events.

The Northwest version comes on Wednesday, April 22, when a panel consisting of MLA's Doug Donaldson and Mike Bernier, along with Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Raina Fumerton and CEO Cathy Ulrich discuss COVID issue the province and answer questions submitted by British Columbia.

The one hour event will take place on the 22nd from 7:15 to 8:15 and will be available on the BC government Facebook page.

To submit questions in advance you can access the forum here.

The String of Virtual Town Halls gets underway tonight for residents of the Vancouver Health Authority.

The rest of the schedule looks as follows:

As is the case for the North, all of the sessions will be streamed live on the BC Government Facebook Page.

If you wish to do a bit of research for the Northern Health session, you can review the latest data from the CDC here, with a new COVID-19 dashboard feature that tracks the progress of the BC response.

More background information can be found from our archive of the Daily provincial updates from Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix.  That archive also hosts a number of links to a range of other material related to the COVID situation in BC.
