Small town Sedition, is the best Sedition!

The pay at the Pool is good ... but not quite 100K a year good we imagine!

Some interesting reading in the comments section from a recent posting to the City of Prince Rupert Facebook page, with one commentator showing a bit of snark and some social commentary on the theme of civic payrolls perhaps.

That in the form of a question for a recent job posting for the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre, posted to the City Facebook page this week.

While the City does offer a very generous salary and benefits package for many of their employment opportunities.  We suspect the lifeguard position won't quite make the 100K mark as hoped for by the civic minded job seeker.

You can explore some of the past City of Prince Rupert job opportunities from our archive page here.

More items of interest related to City Council can be found on our council discussion page.
