City to highlight recent work from Closed meetings at tonight's Session

City of Prince Rupert Corporate
Administrator Roas Miller
Prince Rupert Council will reveal some of the mysterious themes of the Closed Council session tonight, as they release information from a pair resolutions that came out of the October 7th Closed Meeting.

The first will be confirmation of Mrs. Rosamaria Miller as the City of Prince Rupert's New Corporate Administrator, an announcement that the Mayor actually made back in passing in July.

It's arrival on the Agenda tonight we gather is some kind of formal requirement towards the position and after what would seem to have been a probationary period..

The second announcement to come out of the October 7th Closed Conclave of Council will be to re-appoint City staff members Hans Seidemann and Tanya Ostrom to the North Coast Recycling Advisory Committee, with the pair to serve another two year term to that regional body.

The reappointment of the pair,  comes as Regional District moves forward with its plan to remove the After Hours Transfer Station bins and change the hours of operation for the Kaien Road facility.

One theme that the two appointees may soon be working on is the development of a curb side recycling program for Prince Rupert, it's a topic that has often bee the subject of discussion for some City Council members, but so far one which has not seen the Mayor or Council outlined any kind of definitive plan moving forward.
