MLA Rice to host Telephone Town Hall Thursday evening
Facebook reminders and robo calls are providing the notice of an opportunity for residents of the North Coast to learn more about the work of the NDP Government so far, as well as to perhaps ask a few questions of their own on issues important to them.
Jennifer Rice, the MLA for the North Coast is hosting a Telephone Town Hall tomorrow evening, with the one hour long distance community engagement session to run from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
The format is described as that of a conference call, with the MLA providing for the introduction on the night and then taking questions and comments from those that are participating by phone.
Ms. Rice started promoting the event on Monday, with follow up robo calls making their way around town in the following days.
To participate you can call in at 1-877-229-8493
access to the town hall is through the use of ID code 117 207
Those with questions about the one hour forum can contact the MLA's constituency office for more information about the format and how to access it.
The office can be found in the Ocean Centre, located beside the Bank of Montreal on the Second Avenue side of the building.
Or you can contact the office by phone at 250-624-7734, toll free at 1-866-624-7734
