Now that summer has started towards it's final sunset, local community groups will soon be back into action providing services and activities for residents of the North Coast.
For those that rely on Community Enhancement Grants to help with the cost of providing those options to the community the application deadline for 2016 City of Prince Rupert Community Grants is fast coming up.
The City provided it's call for applicants in August, providing some background on the process and how interested groups can submit their information .
Application forms are now available from Corporate Services at City Hall or through online forms available from the city's website.
All applications require supporting documentation and incomplete requests may be rejected or returned.
The deadline for submission by applicants is September 16th, it's anticipated that the City will announce funding for the 2017 Grant program before December 31st.
You can gain a sense of what levels of funding are available from the Grant Funding for this year as outlined in this years Spring Budget process.
