The prospect of moving forward with the rezoning will be part of the discussion from this evening's Public Hearing, to be held prior to the evening's Regular Council session on the evening.
During the hearing, Council members and those in the public gallery will hear a short overview of the zoning change request and then, should they have any comments the members of the public will have an opportunity to make them known to City Council.

Heading into this evening's Hearing, The city has received no inquiries related to the zoning issue over the counter at City Hall and has received six written communications offering the thoughts of residents related to the possible zoning change.
The topic of the rezoning will then become part of the evening's Council session, with Council set to offer up their thoughts of whether to move forward with the process.
