No date has been set as of yet to conduct the by-election to replace Board trustee Judy Carlick-Pearson who submitted her resignation to the Board in November.
This week, SD52 officials provided some background as to how the process will work moving forward.
Noting in their information release this week. that as outlined by the School Act the City of Prince Rupert will be conducting the by-election and with that will be looking to secure an Electoral Officer for that purpose.
Earlier this week, the City posted that Job Position to its website, with an application deadline listed as January 4, 2016.
As for the Trustee By-election process, the date will be announced once the Chief Election officer has been appointed.
