ReDesign Rupert Mapping project continues at PRMS tonight

Another opportunity for Prince Rupert residents to offer up some feedback on how the city should look into the future comes up tonight, as ReDesign Rupert hosts its latest community mapping session, this one at the Prince Rupert Middle School from 6-7:30 PM.

The community mapping program has been travelling around the city in recent weeks, using a pop up method of information sharing to seek out the thoughts of residents at such locations as the Cow Bay Marina, Salvation Army and Rupert Square Mall to name a few.

Tonight's session will also find Mayor Lee Brain at the BBQ dishing out free hot dogs to those that drop by for a visit and a chat.

You can learn more about the ReDesign Rupert planning from their website.

The next community mapping session for ReDesign Rupert takes place
tonight at Prince Rupert Middle School on 9th Avenue West, the public
is invited to drop by, share some thoughts and grab a free hot dog while there.
As they move forward with their work, the team at ReDesign Rupert is looking to provide updates on some of their findings. The project recently delivered one of its first updates since the process got underway, with an Age Profile study recently posted to the information site.

The Age Profile also breaks down the demographic study of the city and outlines some of the factors that have impacted on the change and gradual bounce back.
