The City of Prince Rupert is once again issuing the call to the public to submit their names for consideration for vacancies on two Boards that serve the community.
The City is currently accepting submissions from those that may be interested in serving on the Prince Rupert Airport Authority Board of Directors, or on the Tourism Prince Rupert Board of Directors.
In each case, a written description of you skills and experience that would be relevant to either position are required as part of the application process. In the case of the Tourism Prince Rupert position, those inclined to put forward their name must be a member of Tourism Prince Rupert.
The Deadline for submissions for both positions is Tuesday, April 7th at 4 PM.
At this point, there is no information posted to the City's website outlining much in the way of background when it comes to the two Board opportunities, leaving those interested in applying to try and source out their own research on the twin opportunities.
You can learn more about the work of Tourism Prince Rupert from their website here, while information on the Prince Rupert Airport can be reviewed here.
For a look at some of the news related items from both sectors see our Tourism archive here, or our Transportation notes here.
