The latest update from Pacific NorthWest LNG is one week away, as the LNG proponent of the Lelu Island development prepares to host the latest of their ongoing Open House sessions, with two opportunities to keep up on their plans for their massive LNG project.
Pacific NorthWest LNG will host a January 14th session in Port Edward at the Community Centre on Pacific Avenue, the three hour information presentation takes place from 4 until 7 PM.
One day later on Thursday, January 15th, they will do it all over again at the North Coast Convention Centre in Prince Rupert on 1st Avenue West, with the time for the information session once again schedule to be from 4 until 7 PM.
While it's doubtful that any inside information on the pace of their work on a Final Investment Decision will be provided at either session, representatives will be on hand to outline some of the progress that they have made in recent weeks as far as engagement with community stakeholders regarding their project.
Most recently Pacific NorthWest LNG has made a string of announcement about accommodations with the District of Port Edward, Metlakatla and Kitselas First Nations.
