A chance for the public to offer up comments on the School District 52 Budget Process comes up tonight at Charles Hays Secondary, wth the Multi-purpose room the location to share your thoughts on the issues that are important to you or your children.
A budget shortfall, concerns on staffing in the wake of the recent settlement between the Provincial Government and BCTF and what the District's Strategic plan looks like could be some of the themes for tonight's session.
To look over some background from the January 25th Consultation session, the School District has posted the main talking points from that meeting, available here.
The notes offer up a snapshot of the Goals for the Budget that the School District has, a look at the enrolment situation facing the District, the uncertainty in Funding that they face as well as items related to wages and the need to address a budget shortfall estimated at $550,000.
Our overview of some of the items of note related to the District's Budget review can be found here.
Tonight's session starts at 7PM at Charles Hays Secondary.
