A downtown storefront now marks the marshaling spot for the Lee Brain campaign for the Mayoralty, with the candidate hosting the official opening of his office last week.

The campaign office has set up in the old Rainforest Books location, 251 3rd Avenue West (across from CityWest).

His Wednesday evening event brought a number committed supporters in and perhaps a few new converts to his campaign, as can be viewed through the the latest entries to the candidates Facebook page.

Mr. Brain describes his storefront approach as one that will allow him to "hear from as many people as possible during this campaign".

Those interested in learning more about his campaign platform and the issues he hopes to raise during the Mayoralty contest can drop into his office Monday through Friday from Noon to 7 PM and on the weekends from 1 to 5.

As well as launching his new downtown office, the candidate has also for volunteers to help get his message out, offering up Volunteer training sessions on Tuesday October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd.

Those sessions run from 7:30 to 9:30 PM

Anyone interested in signing up for the Lee Brain team can learn more from his Facebook page or stop in at his office at their downtown location.
