Yes, we know, we hardly visit

Ah the best of intentions, sometimes they go astray.

If I owned a dog, I could say he/she ate my blog...

Well, what can one say, our throughput has been rather low thus far on the D'arcy portal.

Yikes has it really been a couple of months between posts, wherever does the time go.

So many opportunities missed... for shame.

We think we've found a fix to the lack of posted items, and that is brevity.

Rather than try to construct lengthy pieces of political review, maybe we'll try the short blast of items of note.

An example of which is found in the piece directly below.

We still have grand designs on thoughtful screeds, but sometimes our grand design of the screed, doesn't quite make it onto the screen.

We'll see how this goes, ever hopeful that we find the right mix for how we want this blog to develop.

In among our portals of hockey and football, we hope to squeeze in the time to comment on politics as well.

Check back with D'arcy from time to time, you may find something you like yet.

What Bob Rae did on his summer vacation

Bob Rae takes the task of rebuilding and reviving the Liberal brand into Alberta, showing that given the right fashion accessory, Liberals, like members of the Royal Family, can look like cowboys too!

Beyond the obligatory photo ops though, the National Post sees some hopeful signs for Liberals that their bit of political purgatory may not be a permanent fixture.

The Liberal's most likely aren't expecting that the road back to relevance will run deep into Alberta, but at least they're still showing the flag as they say, a positive thing after their spring of disappointment.
